Mrs. Kelley Powell Barcellona graduated from The University of Central Florida and began teaching at a private school in Tampa, Florida. Kelley found her passion teaching middle school Language Arts. She also coached JV volleyball and was the school yearbook adviser. During this time, Kelley also aspired to write professionally. Her teaching experience enhanced her understanding of the inner workings of young adults, which helped enrich her writing. After having short stories published, she decided to hone in on the craft and enrolled in Vermont College of Norwich University, where she eventually graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children. Kelley currently lives in Orlando, Florida, with her husband Aaron and son Brody and daughter Reese.
